You know that one person on your team who always says, “I’ll get it done. Don’t worry about me”?
They’re your rock. Reliable. Driven. Always delivering. But here’s the truth – those high performers, who kill it for you, are often quietly killing
themselves in the process.
They don’t ask for help, they don’t make any noise, and because they are handling everything so well, they are often the ones overlooked..
As leaders, our job isn’t just to manage performance – it’s to consciously care for the people behind it. High performers don’t need more tasks – they need time, presence, and genuine check-in. Show up for them, as much as they show up for you. Because what sustains excellence isn’t pressure – it’s being truly seen, valued, and supported in growing themselves and their career.
So my question to you is:
“Who on your leadership team keeps saying, “I’m fine, I’ll get it done” – when they might actually need you to notice?”
and “What are you going to do to ‘see’ them, ‘value’ them and ‘support’ them, today?”

An Executive Coaching Point of View (ExCoVi)
As an Executive Master Coach and Trainer, I am very fortunate to work with various talented, high-achieving and wonderful people. Every time I coach, I learn something new about my client, our society and myself. The summary of thoughts is based on emerging themes across all kinds of interactions I have; be it one-on-one executive coaching, group coaching or coaching training. ExCoVis are meant to invite people to think differently based on scientifically or statistically proven understanding and lateral thinking. None of the content is meant to offend anyone in any way and is rather an invitation to discuss different executive points of view with respect and integrity. The content is shared to raise awareness and to inspire people to integrate their conscious and unconscious mind and therefore transform unconscious behaviour into conscious behaviour.
